Brad and I spent April 13-17, 2011, birding in the Boca Raton-Delray Beach areas in Florida. We photographed this female Painted Bunting at Green Cay Wetlands in Boynton Beach. It was an overcast morning with an intermittent light mist and temperatures in the mid-80's. This wetlands area is another "must" birding stop for us whenever we are in the area. It may not offer the birding to be had at Wakodahatchee or Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, but it is worth a look.
